KMOTR – Masna Kroměříž a.s. is a leading producer of long-life meat products in the Czech Republic. The company has been especially famous for its long-life fermented salamis. Its volume of this kind of production is the largest in the country. Its very popular salamis include Poličan, Paprikáš, Herkules and Lovecký. The leading position among long-life heat-cured salamis is held by Vysočina. The high quality of KMOTR products has been been proven many times at international competitions in the EU. The company has regularly won awards at competitions in Wels, Austria (2004 – 3 gold and 1 silver medals). Another success was 3 silver and 1 bronze medal in the testing by DLG, Germany in 2005. In February 2008, the company obtained the certificate of an organic food producer and introduced its first organic salami – Bio-Poličan.
