J&T BANKA to Change Clear Deal Parameters as of July 1, 2011

1. June 2011

Prague, June 1, 2011

With effect from July 1, 2011, J&T BANKA will reduce interest rates on its Clear Deal term deposits. The change will not affect already existing Clear Deal deposits and neither the related interest rates.

The yield of one-year Clear Deal term deposits will newly be 3.1% p.a. for deposits above CZK 500,000 and 3.3% p.a. for deposits over CZK 1,000,000. Two-year deposits will attract an interest rate of 3.8% p.a., and deposits made for five years will enjoy an interest rate of 4.0% p.a. The new rates, effective from July 1, 2011, do not apply to deposits made before the given date. Even with the new interest rates, Clear Deal remains to be a term deposit with one of the highest interest rates in the market, thus being an interesting option for capitalizing on free funds. In April 2011, the bank moreover extended its system of benefits that its clients may use after making a Clear Deal deposit.

In order to be as open and transparent as possible toward its clients, J&T BANKA announces its interest rate changes already one month in advance so that Clear Deal clients can timely prepare for the changes.
