The rapid development of the automotive industry in Slovakia was also behind the construction of a logistic centre in Nitra. The storage premises on an area of approximately 14,500 m2 were built for Visteon Slovakia, spol. s r.o. Visteon Corporation is the world’s fourth largest supplier of automobile components and manufactures door panels for the new Peugeot 207 in Nitra. The plant should also start manufacturing air-conditioning equipment for the Kia Accent in this year.

One of the J&T Group’s latest projects in the storage facilities market is the construction of a logistic centre for Visteon Slovakia, spol. s r.o. in Dubnica nad Váhom. The facility with an area of 4,500 m2 is located near a motorway and was finished at the end of 2005. It is mainly used for storing air-conditioning systems for KIA MOTORS. Additional expansion is planned for the near future.¨

The construction of logistic facilities in Poznań, Poland, is the J&T Group’s first penetration in markets outside the former Czechoslovakia. Thanks to a good collaboration with the Immo Industry Group, the J&T Group built one of the largest logistic facilities in Poland for Jeronimo Martins Distribution (Biedronka). Jeronimo Martins Distribution is one of the largest retail companies in Poland, owning a network of more than 1000 stores.
