Tower City Holešovice

A new city within a city will grow up at the bank of Vltava in Prague’s Holešovice – Tower City Holešovice. The dominant feature of the whole set and a new landmark will certainly be two high-rise buildings, whose silhouette will adorn central Prague’s skyline. Modern lifestyle will thus take on a new dimension.

The project is inspired by successful revitalisation of former industrial zones, brownfields, in Vienna, Rotterdam, London and New York. In addition, Tower City Holešovice will be an architecturally attractive complex of buildings, seemingly emerging from Vltava. In terms of functionality, there will be mostly luxurious housing units; a portion of the premises is reserved for shops and offices. The mix of usability will be complemented with a high-category hotel and cultural and sport facilities. The overall project conception is characterised by its emphasis on building acceptance within the wider urban systems. The project is planned to be finished in 2015.
