ZUCKERMANDEL

A long time ago, a village named Zuckermandel was right at the foot of the castle hill. The urban project of J&T Group plans on building a new modern complex in this area, which will enlarge the built-up area of the city centre and return life to the space beneath Bratislava Castle.

The Zuckermandel project - a 21st century complex fully respecting the exceptional character of the site spreading across approximately 150,000 m2. The site borders the historical part of the city and the bank of the Danube. On its western side, it neighbours another project of the J&T Group, the River Park. The goal of the project is to revive the Castle neighbourhood to turn it into an oasis of high-quality living, work and fun both for the current residents and visitors and for future generations. The visually attractive but empathetically rebuilt Zuckermandel zone has a chance to prove that the old and the new can live in perfect symbiosis in Bratislava.
