Regarding the information that appeared in the media about CEFC, we consider it necessary to issue a press statement:
Current developments and news related to CEFC have no influence on the operation and functioning of J&T Finance Group SE (JTFG). The Chinese group CEFC is a minority shareholder in the bank holding JTFG with a share of 9.9 %. No rights over and above those of a standard, passive investor arise for CEFC in respect of JTFG from transactions to date.
For the sake of completeness, we would like to note that JTFG has no unsecured exposure, be it direct or indirect, in relation to CEFC group companies. Any negative developments in CEFC cannot jeopardise the stability of JTFG.
We are in contact with the representatives of CEFC in the Czech Republic and are continuing to monitor the situation.
