J&T BANKA is broadening its operations and after 25 years of existence is expanding to the West. With its fully digital J&T Direktbank, J&T BANKA will primarily offer deposit products for the German market. Germany becomes the fourth market within which the Bank operates.
“Opening a branch in Frankfurt, Germany, is the Bank’s first step into a western market. After recently obtaining an investment rating from the international agency Moody’s, this is another crucial milestone in our strategy,” comments Štěpán Ašer, CEO of J&T BANKA, on the opening of the new branch, adding: “Since 2014, we’ve been offering deposit products in the German market through online comparison platforms. Opening our own branch and the accompanying direct communication with our clients enable us to develop further on the German market and also create opportunity in the future to offer investment products and services.”
