Tomáš Klimíček, current director of the Credit Risk Management Department, became a new member of the Board of Directors of J&T Banka a.s. on 1 December 2016.
“J&T Banka has grown substantially in the last few years. Since 2011, we have doubled the balance sheet total and tripled our clientele. Lending has also shown marked growth. This and increasing demands on the bank and financial sector have led us to the decision to strengthen the bank’s management by adding another member to the Board of Directors to oversee risk management,” says Patrik Tkáč, Chairman of the Board of Directors of J&T Banka, about the change.
Tomáš Klimíček (32) joined J&T Bank five years ago. Since then, his primary focus has been on credit risk management. He obtained his degree from the Faculty of Finance and Accounting of the University of Economics, Prague. He is certified (on the Fundamentals and Professional levels) by the Association of Chartered Certificated Accountants (ACCA), of which he was also a member for several years.
